Program Structure
The warm-up will focus on stretching, strengthening and conditioning the athlete for volleyball. Included in the warm-up are exercises for volleyball movement and postures for each skill.
Then students will go through a series of drills that provide repetitions stressing the technique development of each skill.
Class Concept
Volleyball is a game of specific skills – serving, passing, setting, hitting, blocking, and digging. Everyone on the team needs to be able to perform ALL of these skills. In our ACES class, we will introduce and build the fundamentals of each skill, as well as develop systems and methods of play.
The culmination of the training is being able to use the skills in a real game-like situation. At the higher levels, the class will test the player’s technique, understanding of the game, and their ability to create points.
Our ACES program has been the starting point for many of our elite players, and throughout their volleyball journey, the foundation they learned is ACES has been the platform that’s led them to success. Start your journey today to becoming a great volleyball player.
