She has accepted the position to participate in this elite program at the USA HP Championships which will compete in Tuscon, Arizona. SCVA regional high performance is a USA endorsed program that allows our region to train and compete under the USA umbrella and the program is designed to duplicate on the regional level the same programs and training that athletes from across the nation can receive if they make a National program. Congratulations Haleigh!!!
Congratulations senior Emily Gray, 18-Vemma, on your recent commitment to The Master's College in Valencia Ca. Emily will be an immediate impact as a setter/rightside hitter for the Mustangs. Good Luck next season!!!

A Message from Bald Ed!!!
The most exciting news is the newest addition to our coaching staff, Dana Burkholder. She is a two-time 1st team all-American and former Pac 10 player of the year as well as a former member of the National Team and an assistant coach at University of Arizona. Her experience and perspective as a player and a coach at the highest levels will be a perfect compliment to our existing program. What I like the most is that she is as excited about the relationship with our club, as I am. Dana had heard about the “nightmares” involved with club volleyball, and was pleasantly surprised to find a club, where all the coaches work together and respect each other as we work towards a common goal. Specifically, to help each person in our organization, whether they are a coach or a player, perform at their highest potential.
Team Updates
Tommy Ortiz will be joining Rochelle Short at Point Loma Nazarene University as an assistant coach. We congratulate him on his newest challenge and believe he will be a terrific addition to their program.
Chris Keife from Azusa Pacific University and Rob Machan from Sacred Heart University have done a terrific job of training our coaches as we continue to learn and implement our out-of-system play as well as improving our in-system offense. Dana is a living testament to how this style of play works, as it was implemented on the national team, which she was a part of.
