HIGH SCHOOL: 1st year Varsity Player at Vista Murrieta High in Murrieta, Calif., for head coach Kristin Robarts . . . As a freshman She helped the Broncos to an undefeated Southwestern League finish . . . Received Athletic Scholar Honors and maintains a 3.75 grade point average.

ADDITIONAL COMPETITION: Played Beach Volleyball since the age of 9 . . . 2007 - AAU Beach Nationals 3rd place finish . . . 2006 - AAU Beach Nationals 3rd place finish . . . 2005 - 1st place finish in the Roxy Youth Tour Invitational 12U division.

PERSONAL: Born March 26, 1993 . . . Parents are Tommy and Stacy Ortiz . . . Plans to attend college upon graduation and eventually become a pediatrician . . . Enjoys hanging out with friends, watching movies and going to the mall as favorite activities . . . Also enjoys playing beach volleyball.
