2008 Summer Camp

Summer Camp Registration

Summer 2008 will provide camp for 4th grade through 12th grade. We have prepared camps for the beginning level athletes as well as the elite athletes. With our experienced coaches preparing drills and instruction your daughter will definately become a better player and athlete no matter what level she is.

This year we have an amazing opportunity to have Dana Burkholder, one of the best player athletes as well as an experienced coach leading our summer camps. She was a two time All-American for University of Arizona as well as 2000 Pac-10 conference Player of the Year. She assistant coached for U of A after her graduation in 2001.

We also, are proud to offer the Elite Camp again this year instruction and curriculum developed by Rob Machan, Head Women's Volleyball Coach for Sacred Heart University.

Assisting both of the above mentioned coaches will be experienced Viper coach Tommy Ortiz and two year Viper coach and asst. coach for Azusa Pacific, Mike Huffman.

NEW!!! 2008 Get Ready for High School Camp

Viper volleyball is taking enrollment for Dana Burkholder’s “Get Ready for High School Season” camp. Organized and executed by Dana Burkholder, former Univ. of Arizona setter, 2-time All-American, and 2000 Pac-10 player of the year. Dana’s energetic coaching style and creative approach make her camps popular with players, parents and coaches alike. At all camps, Dana focuses technically as well as motivationally so that players enjoy learning the game and executing at a higher level. Dana’s experiences as a collegiate setter, national team member and collegiate coach have given her the tools to teach the game at every level. Her goal is to demonstrate the training, drills, skills and communication that will give your athlete a jump start in 2008.

Individual skill development will be emphasized for all—skills throughout the camp. Position specific training within offensive and defensive systems will also be covered in-depth.
