About

Coach Kelsee is excited to join the Viper Volleyball family with the merger of 951. Sawyer grew up in the local volleyball community playing all 10 years of her club career with 951 Elite, as well as being a four year varsity player for Great Oak High School where she earned all valley and all-conference honors.
Kelsee went on to play four years of indoor and beach volleyball at the Division I level for California State University, Bakersfield. Her career included winning a WAC title and all-conference honors three of the four years. Sawyer was inducted into the student athlete Hall of Fame for CSUB after her senior season where she holds two school records and is 4th overall in kills for her career as a roadrunner. After graduating, Kelsee was selected to compete in the European Global Challenge with Team BIP (collegiate all-star team).
Coach Kelsee is very passionate and loves every opportunity she gets to give back to the game that has greatly impacted her life. She spent the last two years coaching at the elite level for 951. Last season, Sawyer was the assistant coach for Mt. San Jacinto College for volleyball and softball. Currently, Kelsee is coaching for her Alma mater, Great Oak High School. Kelsee plans on pursuing her master’s and continuing to coach at the higher level.
