About

Tracy has been coaching in the Temecula/Murrieta area since 2005.  She has been an integral part of numerous players’ development, as well as, their transition to the college level. Tracy is known for her strength as a setting coach and her ability to create offense that can inspire young players to become more aggressive and creative on the court.

Tracy started playing volleyball in the 7th grade and never looked back! She was a 4-year Varsity starter for Agoura High School where she earned All-League, All-CIF, and MVP of the League Honors for her Junior and Senior years.

Some of Tracy’s club highlights are a 2nd place finish at Junior Olympics with Asics Volleyball Club and a 13th place finish with In Motion Volleyball Club. As a senior, Tracy was named a FAB 50 Player and Daily News Player of the Year.

Tracy’s success on the court earned her a full-ride scholarship to Arizona State University. During her tenure at ASU, her team swept USC and UCLA to finish 2nd in the PAC-10.   They made it to the Sweet 16 twice.

After college, Tracy played one season as an alternate setter for Team Norelco on the Bud Light 4 Women Tour.  She played two seasons professionally in FIVB overseas in Innsbruck, Austria, and she received her AA classification on the beach with partner Misty May!

In the gym, Tracy enjoys sharing her knowledge of the game and giving the girls the mental and physical tools to be a well-rounded volleyball player.

Tracy has coached primarily in the 16’s and 18’s divisions and was most recently one of Club West-Temecula’s top coaches.  In 2014, Tracy was the Head Coach of the 18-1’s and 16-1’s Elite Teams.  Both teams finished in the Gold Division of Southern California Volleyball Association (SCVA).

In 2015 Tracy’s 16s team finished 8th overall in SCVA.   They medaled twice at the SoCal and Farwestern qualifiers and placed 2nd at Junior Nationals.  In 2016 Tracy’s 17s finished 9th overall in SCVA and they finished 9th at the Junior Nationals in Indianapolis.

Tracy is currently living in town, with her husband Nate, and her two boys, Tucker, and Cooper. Tracy loves to go camping, and really enjoys spending time with family and friends.  She is a die-hard yogi. She loves to laugh until she cries. As Tracy says, “I like to make my team laugh but they don’t always get my humor.  But I’m like seriously pretty funny!”
